We are currently running an experiment at our Munich studio where each week we ask a question to people passing by our office. We're being delighted every morning with some funny, witty and personal answers and are thrilled that people are engaging with it! Daylight was invited by IDH, the sustainable trade initiative and along with their partners in Indonesia, the SpiceUp consortium, we brought together experts from various fields, ranging from data science, data protection and privacy, IOT, satellite data and imaging, to work with pepper farmers on the island of Bangka. We worked on developing new strategies and methods to help increase the yield and quality of pepper grown in the region by designing efficient ways for the farmer to receive information (e.g. weather predictions and training). Together with their in-house design team, Daylight Asia’s creative directors Junggi Sung and JuneHyeong Lee worked hard to bring this vision to reality—from branding to concept, signage, experience and space design.
